Our history
- SOBOCO was originally called "Société des Boissons et Confiseries des Aghlabites".It was originally a public company founded by the Tunisian State in 1960 and whose first activity was the production of soft drinks.
- Then came the production of hard candies and caramels in 1969 as the basic ingredients were the same. In 1989, the KHALFALLAH Group bought the company and developed the activity of the company.
- As for the production of Halva, locally called Halwa Chamia, it started only in 1986, but really took off in 1990 with the appearance of the brand "Papillon" and all the communication campaign that followed.

Our company is awarded the ISO 9001 and 22000, certifications attributed by AFAQ AFNOR; an international organization renowned for its quality requirements.
We have an equipped and efficient quality control laboratory at our manufacturing site. Its mission is to control the entire production process from the reception of raw materials to the delivery of the finished product.
We are working to align all our products with natural dyes, currently we are at about 94.5% of our products made from natural dyes.
We are continuously working towards the production of products that care for the health of children, the core target of our products.
