Our history SOBOCO was originally called Société des Boissons et Confiseries des Aghlabites.It was originally a public company founded by the Tunisian State in 1960 and whose first activity was the production of soft drinks. Then came the production of hard candies and caramels in 1969 as the basic ingredients were the same. In 1989, the KHALFALLAH Group bought the company and developed the activity of the company. As for the production of Halva, locally called Halwa Chamia, it started only in 1986, but really took off in 1990 with the appearance of the brand Papillon and all the communication campaign that followed.
